Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. After a short rest, begin your Phnom Penh city tour with a visit to the impressive Royal Palace, a colourful Khmer-style royal complex built in 1866, followed by the Silver Pagoda, also known as the Emerald Buddha Temple, featuring beautifully decorated Buddha statues and precious ornaments. Continue to the Independence Monument and the National Museum, which showcases an extensive collection of Cambodian art and historical artefacts. Drive along the riverfront park where the Mekong and Tonle Sap Rivers meet, followed by a visit to Wat Phnom, the sacred hill and historic pagoda associated with the city’s name. End the day at Central Market, an iconic dome-shaped market where you can explore local goods, souvenirs, and the vibrant atmosphere of Phnom Penh. Overnight at the hotel in Phnom Penh.

Meal: Breakfast

After breakfast, visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), a former prison that provides insight into one of the most difficult periods in Cambodia’s history. Later, explore the lively Russian Market, where you can experience local shopping and daily Cambodian life. Proceed to the bus station for your scheduled shuttle bus journey from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. (If you prefer to travel by flight, an additional surcharge will apply.) Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and a short rest. Later, begin your exploration of the Angkor Thom complex, starting at the South Gate and continuing to the famous Bayon Temple, Terrace of the Elephants, Baphuon, Royal Palace Area, Phimeanakas, and Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat, one of Cambodia’s most iconic temple complexes. In the evening, enjoy free time at the Angkor Night Market at your own expense. Meal: Breakfast

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day exploration of the Angkor Small Circuit. Visit the atmospheric Ta Prohm Temple, famous for its ancient trees growing among the temple ruins, followed by Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, and Srah Srang, a historic royal bathing pool. Continue to Ta Keo, an impressive five-level temple mountain dedicated to Shiva, followed by Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda, two beautifully preserved temples showcasing classic Khmer architecture. Spend the rest of the day exploring the remarkable temples and historical landscapes of the Angkor complex. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

Meal: Breakfast

After breakfast, continue your Angkor exploration with the highlights of the Grand Circuit. Visit Preah Khan, meaning “Sacred Sword,” known for its long corridors and intricate carvings. Continue to Neak Pean, a unique temple surrounded by water, followed by Ta Som, a charming Bayon-style temple complex. Later, explore East Mebon, an impressive 10th-century temple that was once located on an island in the Eastern Baray. End the day at Pre Rup, a magnificent temple offering beautiful views and a memorable sunset experience. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Siem Reap International Airport for your onward flight back home or to your next destination. If time permits, visit Puok, the original home of Artisans d’Angkor silk production, where you can discover the traditional silk-making process, from silkworm cultivation and spinning to weaving. You will also have an opportunity to purchase authentic Cambodian silk products as souvenirs. End of Service.
