Itinerary information
Day 1: Arrival in Madrid – Madrid City
Welcome to Madrid, Spain’s vibrant capital, renowned for its rich history, grand architecture, iconic landmarks and world-class museums. Upon arrival at Madrid–Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport, meet your professional Tour Manager who will assist with your transfer to the hotel and check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing at the hotel or exploring the surroundings. In the evening, proceed for dinner. Overnight in Madrid. Meals: Dinner.
Day 2: Guided Madrid City Tour & Toledo Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for a guided city tour of Madrid and discover its historic and cultural highlights, including a visit to the renowned Bullring, an iconic symbol of Spanish tradition. Later, visit a traditional sword factory and learn about the craftsmanship behind Spain’s famous swords. Continue to Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage city celebrated for its medieval architecture and rich blend of Christian, Jewish and Islamic heritage. Day 3: Madrid – Salamanca – Porto
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Salamanca, a historic Spanish city famous for its golden sandstone architecture and prestigious university. Meet your English-speaking guide and explore the magnificent Plaza Mayor, the University of Salamanca and the beautiful Casa de las Conchas. Continue your journey to Porto, Portugal. Day 4: Guided Porto City Tour – Lisbon
After breakfast, proceed for a guided tour of Porto, a beautiful coastal city known for its historic architecture, vibrant culture and scenic Douro River views. Visit highlights including the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, Ribeira district and the renowned Port wine cellars. Later, drive towards Lisbon through the scenic landscapes of Portugal.
