Itinerary information
Day 01: Hanoi Arrival
Meal: No Meal
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by your English-speaking guide and driver and transferred to your hotel by private vehicle. The journey to the city takes approximately 45 minutes. After check-in, the rest of the day is free for you to relax and settle into your hotel. Please ensure that your visa is pre-arranged or that your visa-on-arrival approval letter is available in your carry-on luggage. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi Full-Day City Tour
Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, begin your Hanoi city tour with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, established in 1070 during the Ly Dynasty and dedicated to Confucius and Vietnamese scholars. In the afternoon, visit one museum of your choice, such as the Museum of Fine Arts, National Museum of Vietnamese History, Museum of Revolution, Museum of Military History, or Museum of Ethnology. Later, explore Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, located on a small island in the lake. End the day with free time to explore Hanoi’s charming Old Quarter and its 36 ancient streets, where you can shop, walk around, and experience the local atmosphere. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 03: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay Overnight Cruise
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast, depart from your hotel at approximately 8:00 AM for Ha Long Bay, located around 160 km from Hanoi. The journey takes approximately 3–3.5 hours and offers scenic views of the Red River Delta, including rural landscapes and traditional rice fields. Arrive in Ha Long City around 11:30 AM and board your cruise after a welcome drink. Enjoy lunch while cruising through the spectacular waters of Ha Long Bay, renowned for its thousands of limestone islands and islets. In the afternoon, enjoy activities such as a short trek to a nearby viewpoint, swimming at a quiet beach, or relaxing on the sundeck. Later, visit a local fishing village and interact with the communities that have lived around the bay for generations. Kayaking may also be available depending on weather and cruise conditions. In the evening, enjoy dinner on board while taking in the beautiful sunset and surrounding scenery. Overnight on the cruise in Ha Long Bay.
Day 04: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Da Nang – Hoi An
Meal: Breakfast & Brunch
Start the morning with a refreshing Tai Chi session on the cruise sundeck as the sun rises over Ha Long Bay. Enjoy tea and coffee on board while continuing your cruise through the bay and taking in views of its spectacular limestone formations. After a buffet brunch, check out from the cruise at approximately 9:30 AM and disembark around 11:00 AM. Transfer to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Da Nang, with a flight duration of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival in Da Nang, meet your private guide and driver and transfer to Hoi An, approximately 40 minutes away. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.
Day 05: Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge Tour
Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, depart for Ba Na Hills, travelling along Nguyen Tat Thanh Street and enjoying scenic views of Da Nang’s coastline. Upon arrival, board the cable car and enjoy spectacular views of the lush forests and mountain landscape. Visit the famous Golden Bridge, an impressive pedestrian bridge surrounded by the mountains and supported by giant stone-like hands. Continue to Le Jardin D’Amour, the old French wine cellars, remains of French villas, and Linh Ung Pagoda, featuring a 27-metre-high Buddha statue. Take another cable car to reach the mountain summit and explore the scenic surroundings before ascending Chua Mountain Peak, located at approximately 1,487 metres above sea level. Enjoy panoramic views of Da Nang and visit attractions such as Dreaming Stream, Rainbow Waterfall, Suspension Bridge, Golden Valley, and the ruined Opera House. After lunch at a local restaurant, spend some leisure time enjoying the mountain attractions before returning by cable car and transferring back to Hoi An. Overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.
Day 06: Hoi An Half-Day City Tour – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City
Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, meet your private guide and explore the historic town of Hoi An, a former trading port that flourished between the 15th and 19th centuries and is now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover its well-preserved architecture and unique blend of Vietnamese and international influences. Visit the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, the Museum of Trade Ceramics, the historic Tan Ky House, and the Ong Temple, followed by a visit to the vibrant local market. Later, transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, meet your driver and guide and transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 07: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta Tour
Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, depart for My Tho and the Mekong Delta, travelling through scenic countryside and extensive rice fields. Upon arrival in My Tho, board a motorboat and cruise through the waterways while observing local life and the lush surroundings. Visit Thoi Son Island, where you can enjoy traditional Southern Vietnamese music performed by local artists. Continue by paddle boat through narrow canals and visit local households producing traditional coconut candy and rice wine. Later, travel by motorized boat to another island to visit a bee farm, taste fresh honey tea, and enjoy tropical fruits. On the return journey to My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, an impressive Buddhist temple featuring a distinctive blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, Roman, and Cambodian architectural influences. After the tour, return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 08: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Siem Reap
Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, begin your Ho Chi Minh City sightseeing tour with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, which features historical photographs, documents, and military exhibits related to the Vietnam War. Continue with an exterior visit to Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica and explore the historic Saigon Central Post Office, a beautiful colonial-era landmark. Later, head to Cho Lon, Ho Chi Minh City’s vibrant Chinatown, and visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, a historic Taoist temple known for its intricate carvings and spiritual atmosphere. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap, with a flight duration of approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, complete the immigration and visa formalities as applicable, then meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 09: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat
Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, explore the ancient city of Angkor Thom, built in the 12th century. Begin at the impressive South Gate, featuring statues depicting the famous Churning of the Ocean of Milk, and continue to the Bayon Temple, renowned for its monumental towers and serene stone faces. Visit Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King, discovering the remarkable architecture and history of the Angkorian era. After a short rest, continue to Angkor Wat, the most famous temple complex in Cambodia and one of the region’s most extraordinary architectural achievements. After sightseeing, return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 10: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap & Departure
Meal: Breakfast
After breakfast, begin your final day with a visit to Chong Khneas Floating Village, located approximately 10 km south of Siem Reap. Enjoy a traditional wooden boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia’s Great Lake, and observe the unique daily life of local communities living on and around the water. During the cruise, you will see floating homes, schools, and other community facilities while learning about the distinctive lifestyle of the floating village. After the tour, enjoy some free time at leisure until your scheduled transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your onward flight back home or to your next destination.
