Itinerary information

Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival & City Tour

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, meet and greet with our local representative and transfer to your hotel. After a short rest, begin your Phnom Penh sightseeing tour with a visit to the impressive Royal Palace, a colourful Khmer-style complex built in 1866. Continue to the nearby Silver Pagoda, also known as the Emerald Buddha Temple, which houses beautifully decorated Buddha statues adorned with precious materials. Later, visit the Independence Monument and explore the National Museum, home to an extensive collection of Khmer art and antiques. Continue through the riverfront park, where several rivers meet, including the mighty Mekong, and visit Wat Phnom, a sacred hill and historic pagoda associated with the capital. Finally, explore Central Market, an iconic domed market built in 1937 and known for its wide variety of local goods and bustling atmosphere. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Phnom Penh.

Day 2: Phnom Penh Sightseeing – Express Bus to Siem Reap

After breakfast, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), a former prison that provides insight into Cambodia’s difficult history during the Khmer Rouge period. Later, explore the vibrant Russian Market, where you can experience the bustling local atmosphere and browse a variety of goods. In the afternoon, proceed to the bus station and board a shuttle bus to Siem Reap, the gateway to Cambodia’s magnificent Angkor temples. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 3: Full-Day Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat Tour

After breakfast, begin your exploration of the magnificent Angkor complex. Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, followed by the impressive Bayon Temple, famous for its remarkable stone faces. Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants, Baphuon, Royal Palace Area, Phimeanakas, and Terrace of the Leper King, each showcasing the remarkable architecture and history of the Khmer Empire. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Angkor Wat, one of Cambodia’s most celebrated temples and a masterpiece of Khmer architecture. Later, enjoy free time to explore the Angkor Night Market, local shops, bars, and pubs before returning to the hotel.

Day 4: Angkor Small Circuit & Grand Circuit Tour

After breakfast, continue your temple exploration with the Small Circuit, beginning with Ta Prohm, famous for its ancient trees and atmospheric ruins. Continue to Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Keo, Thommanon, and Chau Say Tevoda, discovering the diverse architectural styles and history of the Angkor period. In the afternoon, explore highlights of the Grand Circuit, including Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, and Pre Rup. Later, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and, subject to local conditions, experience the sunset views from Pre Rup before returning to your hotel.

Day 5: Siem Reap Sightseeing & Floating Village Tour

After breakfast, visit Wat Thmei, also known as the Killing Field, featuring a distinctive glass-walled stupa. Continue to Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Écoles, where you can discover Cambodia’s traditional arts and crafts. In the afternoon, visit the Floating Villages on Tonle Sap Lake, located approximately 10 km south of Siem Reap, and enjoy a traditional wooden boat ride while experiencing the unique lifestyle of communities living around the Great Lake. Later, visit Wat Bo, an 18th-century pagoda known for its traditional wall paintings, followed by a visit to a local market. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport for your onward flight. If time permits, visit Puok, known as an important centre for traditional Cambodian silk production. Here, you can see the silk-making process, from silkworms and cocoons to weaving, and shop for high-quality Cambodian silk products as a memorable souvenir. Continue to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
